YOU CAN HELP!!

To make this run smoothly and more fun roles have been formed that almost any one can perform. There will be about 20 MICA volunteers to perform roles like Team Care person and Collectors. If you are interested in a specific role other than using a broom contact Jonathan Taube jtaube@mica.edu

Team Leader
- Responsible for leading each team on designated route, keeping pace and remaining in contact with the other Team Leaders. The TL must rally spirit and facilitate participant’s needs. Also known as Head Sweeper.
Sweepers- Made up of all sorts, sweepers will lead the procession. Piles will be made and left for the Collectors. There can be as many Sweepers as there are brooms in the City of Baltimore.
Collectors
- Responsible for pushing tilt trucks and shoveling piles. They will work in groups of two or three. They will follow the sweepers.
Team Care Person- Responsible for equipment, first aid, and refreshments pulled in a cart following the Collectors.

 

RSVP or join up along the route the day of. All are invited to work together and celebrate our city together.

The City’s Initiative of a Cleaner Greener Baltimore will be providing a limited amount of equipment along the routes.
